WEBEREI HAMBURG

WEBEREI HAMBURG, workshop and storefront in Hamburg St. Pauli, has been established in 1992. We, that's Andreas und Natalia Möller, are weaving scarves and blankets on Flying8 looms, which we have developed.

STRUCTURES & TRAITS

We prefer to use materials like cotton, bamboo, and the finest merino wool - all natural. We develop astonishing patterns and structures from the combination of weaving technique and material traits.

AWARD-WINNING SCARVES
The work of WEBEREI HAMBURG have won many design awards and federal recognitions.
In 2017 we won the distinguished "Justus Brinkmann Preis," Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg.

In 2017, Andreas has visited Shillong, Meghalaja, in Northeast India three

times to construct looms and teach weaving on Flying8 looms in James Dhakar's new Hand Weaving Center:  https://flying8loomindia.com

 

The next trip is planned for November, when Andreas will visit and support the new Flying8 trainers.
